ENFJ stands for Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging, which in its turn means - Extraverted Feeling Aided By Intuition…and that’s me...apparently…
I’ve been given link to the psychological test (not the fancy-pancy-Quzilla-like, but neither one of the boring professional) [~Thanks, IsolatedHell!]. I do have that “itch” for psychology and from time to time various topics come to occupy my mind…until something else comes along…this time the results of a simple test astonished me. Seriously. Normally I prefer to identify myself as “clinical case-study” and when taking tests I would find only half results being truly applicable ...never found a single one to be accurate in full description of my odd personality…
Now, what I’m thinking is that these tests intended to help in interpersonal interaction, right?…perhaps, I’m totally wrong here though as I can’t see how this works at all: even if I know what is my personality type, how would I find out what’s the type of another? And if we match? Do I need to make everyone I meet to take these tests? And if the test shows incompatibility, do I need to break up on this basis? Basically, I guess, my question is – what these tests are for?
Personally, I would be more interested to use such tests for “reality check” – when I’ve done the test then ask friends to take a look and see which of the results they agree with. This way I might get an idea how my own perception of me differs from the one in another’s eyes…And the reason for such thinking was – I took this test. The test name - the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. And I was rather surprised when the results came up within my approval rate of around 98%. Which happened ever so rare…so I wonder if this is truly me or not…hmmmm…got to bug friends to take a look…
Well, at least my ambition can be satisfied by the fact that there is only 5% of the general population who same odd as me...[~giggles]
