Thoughts about politics today…The Ukrainian crisis…Nothing that have been unforeseen I presume…The difference this time, that it happened to be in a conflict being taking on between West and Russia. Forget the Ukrainians. Who really believe that it is about democracy? Any previous years there were no signs of democracy in Russian region yet nobody complained before. Only when the question has been raised about whether Ukraine should be pro-Russian or pro-Western, as of a sudden everyone seems to care. Hmmm…I guess, this is not entirely a puzzle to work out why…
Sad to see though, that the famous democratic “free” western media covers the event in biased fashion. But again, guess, it’s always been like that. The way I see it: there is too much information from outside the country and there is too little information inside it…Everyone seems to have the only rightful opinion, except that that everyone doesn’t live in Ukraine, actually. People are quick in judging when it is not about their own country. We all consider ourselves to be better judges for anyone, except ourselves….
Just reminded me about how UK granted political asylum to Mr Zakaev and Mr Berezovsky despite of Russia demanded an extradition on a basis of them breaching the State law. Now I wonder where was respect to another country’s law in this judgement? Mr. Zakaev is a key figure in the Chechen leadership and Mr Berezovsky is ex-Russian oligarch, who now resides in England and is Britain’s…14th richest man. (common: asylum seeker that can afford to buy half-country he is applying asylum to?! What is it? A laugh?!). I suppose, one can afford to choose the place to live, if one has got money…who says anything about being a criminal? Got money? - “Good enough for us”…
Could talk hours about politics, but there is no point, really, is there? [~sighs]
Girls, booking party for Sunday – make sure you’ll be here. Bring your own pyjamas, wine, food, all usual. Oh, and – don’t forget some sassy story – it’s a Lady’s Party after all! ;-) The Party Theme: ”She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy” and we are going to discuss which men’s garments turns us, ladies, on (if any) with any possible deviations of the topic. See you all on Sunday!
