Have you ever wonder, what toys do IT guys play with? Well – take a look at that:
One of our staff will be leaving for New York in a few months time. So they bought him a "leaving present" – this "cuddly Dalek" thing. He is so cute – he has a remote control and can wonder around, flashing lights on his head and yelling randomly selected phrases like "EX-TER-MI-NATE! EX-TER-MI-NATE!" or "SEEK AND AN-NI-HI-LATE!" or "YOU WILL O-BEY THE DA-LEKS!"

As you can imagine, we’ve been playing with it for the last two days. First thing we wanted to try – to let him to appear from behind the door after unsuspecting someone enters our office. Or - to roll out from under someone’s desk, actively communicating in his charming voice. Oh, and we still have time to teach him to carry coffee tray as well (Could be a useful feature in IT office ;-) )
We are now seriously thinking of buying one of those toys for the office and installing some clever remote control into it, that would be controlled from the computer. Just to think of gazillions of possibilities that would come with that!!!
PS. oh, and look how pretty the Dalek is, standing by the daffodil!;-)
