They burn. And then peel off the skin to return to their normal white self. Only two days ago I walked into the office to be greeted by everyone “you look great and tanned!” now I’m changing my skin like a dress…well, like I said before: what is the point of suntanning for such like me? So I don’t do sun tanning on my holidays anymore. Besides, white suits me better, methinks. Anyways, it’s Friday and I’ve just about finished with sorting out e-mails I’ve missed and some urgent things that can’t wait. I guess, it is time to set time aside and organise the order of the last two weeks in my head.
They were hectic and illogical from the first glance. In reality I can’t remember when I had such a relaxing holidays last time. Too relaxing to my liking, though, for I can be idle for a day and a half. Then I begin to die slowly. So…the most bizarre travel in two weeks, though one can find a pattern in a weirdness, if one wants to make up significances out of nothings…I have to highlight in brief the places I’ve been before talking about them otherwise the whole picture will be lost. I came to the liking of business travels. And by that I mean – when my hb goes on one of his business trips, I tend to join him for two main reasons: he goes to places I would never think of going otherwise and we save a lot on hotels and his tickets. Needless to say that such travels are no different to the travels on my own, coz I wander around completely solo while he’s busy with his business anyway…
This time he had a collaboration meeting in France, in a small place with the fruity name Saint-Nectaire. And that’s where we went to spend a week. BUT before that week…oh yes, that’s where it’s all gets even more confusing: before the week in France I spend a day in Switzerland. Just because his company organised a bus from Geneva to Saint-Nectaire and that was the easy travel option for us. So my next tale will be about gorgeous Switzerland on the passing-by…
