Boo Hoo to me and Mike as unaccomplished wallpaperers…I’m a little embarrassed to let the world know that I failed my first live-by-yourself test in wallpapering. When soon-to-be-ex husband returned, he pointed to the obvious blunder. Thankfully he also fixed it too. (A-Voice-Inside-My-Head gloatingly remarks: so, my dear, did you REALLY think you could do just fine on your own?!) Who would’ve thought that vinyl wallpapers are not supposed to have overlap and that “stripy” effect that I thought was kinda cool, was in fact, not effect, but defect?! Yes, unfortunately we did it wrong, duh! Fortunately, it was amendable, so it’s not a big deal now. If only life could be like that – you do things wrongly but you can just take a knife and cut it through and then glue it together again…ironic, huh?
Positive Thought:
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; Some blunders and absurdities have crept in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered by your old nonsense.

Bless - From:Nibbles (Legacy)On:Mon Jan 14 2008I say, when in doubt blame the men.
And who says it was wrong anyways? I think it is way more likely that it was creative. Yes creative and unique. I fair say that soon to be ex person made it worse by his narrowminded veiw of "correctness". *grins*
