"As the Hand on Left With..."
Thu Dec 09 2004

As the hand on left with the hand on right Our souls are beside. We had both gone in a bliss of flight As the wing on left and the wing on right. But a whirl arrived -- and a chasm is left From the wing on right to the wing on left... [Marina Tsvetaeva]

What happens when things are out of balance? When they're out of synch…Sometimes the Times are our worst enemies…Sometimes they are our helpers…they help to hide, to step in the shadows…to give space…to let others to experience too…to share out what we have…although this proved to be so hard sometimes…for in our nature we – selfish…we want everything just for ourselves and we often want it now and forever…so the Times being unsynchronised in a way helps us to stay decently respectful to the other’s needs…helps to give others a space to breath…

Random Thoughts Through The Day

My bad luck with those kinder surprise eggs again - the one I've bought today has a sleazy Millhouse character from Simpsons. I don't like him :-(((

Today's is gonna be our department's Christmas party. People with the common payslip's design will get together and pretend they interested in each other. Well, at least I'll get to wear that silly paper crown from the christmas crackers and pretend I'm - a princess :-p

Since you asked, I'm going to have to say sheepshit, what with all the Children's Nativity Plays featuring genuine livestock.

I love all the smells of Christmas, whether it’s the scent of the pine Christmas tree, oranges, turkey dinner, or spice cookies! But my favourite holiday scent is probably mulled wine simmering on the stove. Every year I make it for my holiday party. I take the juice of 3 large oranges and put it in a pot over low heat with a bottle of red wine. Then I take a cheesecloth bag fill it with about 6 cloves, some freshly ground nutmeg, the zest of one of the oranges, and a couple of broken up cinnamon sticks. It’s a great warm drink for a holiday party and the smell of it just fills the house with the scent of Christmas. It’s not uncommon for people to say as they enter the house, “Mmmm, it smells like Christmas in here!”

It's a sad by-product of prosperity, that we appreciate what we have less. . .
And it also makes us more prone to whinning when we don't get EXACTLY what we want... Sigh.

    "Two Suns are Cooling..."
Two suns are cooling - O save me, God!
The first - in heavens, the second - in heart.
Will I have an excuse for that? -
Both suns made me fully mad!
No pain from the beams - they're lost!
Hotter sun will be frozen first.

something that lets me know it is christmas is fruit bags from the churches christmas play. we always have bags of mixed fruit and chocolate candy, and candy canes . so all fruits remind me of christmas . I dont know what my smell is yet. maybe the smell of a real christmas tree.
