When you hear “bath and music”, you’d imagine a tranquil picture of a bath time, scented candles, fluffy foam, soft music, full relaxation…well, here is an alternative to the bath-time. It’s all started as you’d expect, with the scented candles, fluffy foam, etc…oh and a headphones (I do like it loud, as you might've guessed already) now, the music on my ipod is in the same “order” as my tastes in music – chaotically random. So, after few blues and instrumental records, it’s all rocked down to the Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi and Meat Loaf…I could’ve of course, scroll few songs to find a more appropriate melodies for meditation, but do you have any idea, how good is acoustics in the bathroom?! Well, I didn’t until I've tried. I can listen to the music. I am too embarassed to sing. I am brave enough to sing in a car occasionally, when driving alone. Now I know that I can also sing in...bathrooms. Ahem…actually, I mean – I can scream in bathrooms too. There is something truly liberating in performing karaoke rock-and-foam. Especially, with head phones on, so you can’t really torment your own ears, just the family’s. And you can splash along to the rhythm too. (*actually, I didn’t realise that I was “singing” that loud, until somebody started to bang on the bathroom door during my favourite passage “life is a lemon and I want my money back! "(you've got to scream it out, like Meat Loaf does, to feel it in your cells! ))
oh well, just something to amuse yourself on a uneventful evening… :-)
