Sweets From The Strangers
Mon May 22 2006

We draw a picture and invite the others into our World. Who are they? Do we know whom we trust? Would they wish to come at all? Opening doors to the others required to be brave and trust your instincts…accept the sweets from the stranger and before you know – he’ll violate your trust…ignore the stranger passing by and who knows if you’ve just missed your soul mate…strange it is how we choose with whom we share…sometimes it seems illogical and totally out of common sense…there are no rules to apply to incoming guests…no custom controls and metal-detectors on entrance…take your shoes off and walk in…yet there are so few who dare to do that. Somehow there are more talkers then listeners, more demonstrators then observers, more willing to share then wishing to take in…imbalanced we are in terms of sharing abilities…it is easier to tell then to hear…If each will speak about own issues, who is gonna listen? Sometimes it seems to me that we only listen because we are being polite…

From time to time friends do these nice little things to you…they might turn up unexpectedly or send a message or simply finally respond to ours…and suddenly all the reasons for sulking at them have gone away. Because we do forgive a lot of things to our true friends…much more then we can ever forgive to ourselves…Our friends are those imperfect ideals, whom we love unconditionally…

Recently I’ve read this article on BBC news site. It says that there is a possibility, that sooner or later all the ancient monuments will be banned in Egypt Of course Egypt being a part of my heart, I was concerned enough to write to my Egyptian friends and ask them if this is true. They were rather surprised with the article and even angry at BBC for such a slander…I’m disappointed with the way the World is turning around…why people without religion can live just fine side by side and why what should teach about love and peace becomes the reason for wars…

Hi there, thanks for the comment.

I hate driving in rain like that, it is terrible and you really can't see what is going on around you.

For me, the more time I have off, the more time that I want off!
