I found few more thoughts to let off my mind…of taking chances…I am a gambler in that regard, as many know…not always I used to be like this. And then I’ve got to that age when people I know start to die…I decided there is no excuse for sitting and waiting for something to happened to me or it might be too late…(too late for what exactly??!!! Duh!) we never know when we gonna die, do we? We might have a reasonable prognosis based on how healthy our lifestyle is, on inheritance the tendency from family, on how careful we are…we can never predict the actual moment…it might happen totally unrelated to the survival chances we’ve got. Car accidents, flash flooding, collapsing bridges…so many ways to go before it’s time…so I had this idea of “why wait and miss a chance of going with the full baggage of experiences”…
The question that bothers me now : why do we want to “have it all”? What makes us wake up in the morning and instead of "What's for breakfast?” ask ourselves “ I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?”
Do we really need our life to be uneven in a sense of events - one day we have it all and other - just emptiness? Or do we prefer well established routine – every day is like every other day and that is kinda sense of “security”
Ok, I’ve started with the chances and got off the track into other things…chances…what do we do with them…is it better to have a life when you know in advance what’s gonna happened next. Or do we from time to time have to reach out for the stars in the skies and break the routine? First option will guarantee a contentment , second one…well…it’s a gamble, isn’t it?...
On totally unrelated, furry pets topic:
nothing like a good sense of humor and a care free feeling helps to start your Fry Day in a good mood:
hb reaching out on IM from his vacation: "how are you, my little rabbit?" - "multiplying" -"hmmm...any progress so far? "
well, that's what rabbits do, don't they?! ;-)
