is that you never manage it fully...I had a super busy last month of the year, with so many things happening at once or one after another...so, just to summarise this year, straight and bold, musings will have to wait until the next one...again!!! I wished for a quiet time and the Universe replies with extra curriculum to get involved into...I needed to slow down and the Time around me speeds up immediately, just for fun, I guess...I wanted my head cleared and Troubles, Responsibilities, Emergencies, all appear on my doorstep, demanding attention Here and Now...ffs, this is my only quiet place and every time when I'm ready to pop in and share a thought or two, something's happening around me and pushes me off the train that leaves the station...
Kids have moved into their new house last week...I have finally brought mine back to what I can call - my home...a year of sharing it with daughter-in-law have made some changes that I really wanted to revert back from...I have holidays booked for the first two weeks of January and was hoping, so hoping, to get away...go somewhere away from my house, from my daily chores, from all the practicals and responsibles and all that "white noise" that gets in a way when one is trying to regain inner peace...I'm now glad I didn't managed to book anything, waiting for kid's move to go ahead, leaving all to last minute deals hunt...well, a new surprise appeared, just when I thought - finally...NOW I can take care of ME...the surprise came in a form of a hole... a round shaped hole...in my ceiling...I poked it with my finger...no kidding...so, the ceiling obviously had some sort of leakage issue, only it wasn't obvious until it became so...I touched the wet spot with my finger and immediately felt like that nose of Pinocchio, getting stuck in things...my finger went right through the plasterboard to the rusty nail in the ceiling joist.. Guess, what I'll be doing after Christmas...you have only three guessing attempts here...
but, hey ho, shit happens, and we do deal with it...every time...all the time...last night I even managed to decorate my Christmas tree! Better late then never, right? All in complete with the Christmas Drip Bowl - a new style Christmas decoration - a "must have" if you have drops of water coming down from your ceiling...what do I to do...well, make it festive, I guess...
But... I did have run out of my everything...my patience...my endurance...my common sense...my hope for a quiet...my money, my knowledge on the subject of the ceilings (YouTube, here I come!...again)...and the time I have to come here and say what I said, even thought this wasn't what I wanted to say all together...
but the Time presses his demands and just in case I won't have other opportunity anywhere soon...
I would like to wish to my DD Family a decent end for this year, a promising start for the next one...a sparkle of inspiration and a firework of energy and a gazillion of buzzers that triggers your creativity!
