I swear I heard two gunshots at 6am this morning, very nearby. But no sirens. And no traffic backups on maps. I guess I just imagined it...unless it was my neighbor and a murder suicide. I just say that because they were arguing 10 days ago and he went to the lake cabin right after and he just returned yesterday.

The heat has made a lot of people a little crazy. There have been so many shootings in the past few days...

But, what a breath of fresh air yesterday was. Literally. Humidity was down, smoke was gone, temp was down, I don’t think it even got up to 80F. And the same for today. Waking temp was 64. It's been awhile since we've seen 60s. Last evening I took the same bike ride as the other day and really pushed it, hoping to get my time down to 60 minutes. I think I could have done it but less than a mile from home, there was a train. A very very long train. Actually two trains hooked together because there was a second engine in the middle. I stood there waiting and waiting. And waiting. It's been a long time since Ive had to wait for a train. So, i will have to try to break my record time another time.

The birthday card I sent to grandson never arrived. My daughter gets notified of what is supposed to get delivered each day and she saw it last Thursday, but it wasn't delivered. She reported it missing yesterday. That's $20 I'm out. I don’t know why anyone trusts USPS anymore. Govt crooks like the rest of 'em.

Like the Taylor Farms thing. The feds wouldn't investigate it, but as soon as the states determined it was TF lettuce, the feds get involved and say no, it couldn't possibly be one of our big donors.

I was asleep before 10pm and slept soundly last night. I feel like I got too much sleep lol! But both elbows hurt today.
