Wrist is a little better. I wore the splint all day yesterday, only problem is it makes it impossible to get my hand into jacket sleeves, everything I own has cuffs or elastic that doesn't stretch wide enough. Other than that, I was able to type (with more typos than usual). Showering was difficult, it ​is hard to wash hair with one hand. This morning I have burning in my forearm from the hand to elbow. Swelling continues.

It got up to 50F yesterday and a lot of that foot of snow melted. Close to 60F today and tomorrow is supposed to be near 70. Maybe the snow will be gone?? Too bad the No Kings rally isn't tomorrow. Who knows what next Saturday will look like. Jane Fonda and Joan Baez are attending the St Paul rally. Not that I can go.​ My granddaughter's bday party is at the same time. I wonder if that was intentional planning by my daughter to keep me from going??? I'm torn about rallies. I'm an action person and rallies to me are inaction, just a gathering of people who want to do something but nothing is done there except to bring everyone who wants action together.

I still have to find a birthday gift....

Still have to book a cabin...there were a lot booked this week, probably the snowstorm forced others like me to think summer, so it's getting down to slim pickings now. I did get it narrowed down to one resort last night. Now just have to see what is available. I don't think I'm going to do a full week either.​
