Didn't sleep as well last night. Lots of tossing and turning and worry about work. Those large projects that were supposed to be done yesterday aren't even close to being done. I have 7 to do and I only have one done and it took me 2 hours! I was still answering questions into early afternoon from the other department that had to do their part first. They seem to think if it is due Tuesday they can get it to me at the end of the day Tuesday. Grrr. I had to work OT to get the one done. And I tattled to my manager that the other dept was really behind. So today I will ask my team to fill in for me as if I am absent and will power down and hopefully complete them. And I am changing my phone presence to busy. Yesterday I received 8 calls, and only 2 were for me. The stupid receptionist keeps sending customer service calls to me instead of the person with the same name as mine in CS. So annoying, because I have to waste my time trying to figure out and listen to long drawn out monologues blah blah blah only to have to say to them "Let me transfer you to CS."

Did not watch or listen to the State of the Union because who wants to listen to the same shit he says every day of the year? Stolen election. Booming economy. Peacefullest president ever. Evil democrats. Blah blah blah. Nothing new or intelligent to say. Did tune in to the alternates: Swamp of the Union at the National Press Club and the event on the National Mall. But I got bored with both, because it was mostly just a bunch of ranting mouths. Blah blah blah. We still do not have a leader who is showing us WHAT we can do as individuals. We do have too many loudmouths who rile people up but provide no steps for action. A clear, united course of action would be a nice change.

I know I had more but it escapes me.
