Watched American Hustle last night. For a second time. I was 40 minutes into it before I realized I'd seen it already and by that time it was too late to start another movie. It's okay, but not something I'd intentionally watch twice.

Well, after his nap, we went to big box for ideas. He wants to put in a new patio. What is here now was used as a parking pad for a boat and is an uneven mishmash of concrete slabs and blocks, granite pieces, brick odds and ends, and pavers. The granite gets really slippery when wet.

We also looked at bathroom exhaust fans, which would be nice since there isn't one here. And lights for the garage.

I grilled him a dozen chicken drumsticks for his dinners this week (marinaded, not dry rub) while he put up and painted the new rack for the hose.And I brought up the napping. He insists it is about the pillows here, that he can't get comfortable and doesn't want to wake me to fluff them, so he can't sleep. (He takes literal minutes, not seconds, to fluff his damn pillows and because it goes on and on and on like a dog scratching and circling before laying down, yes, it does wake me.) I'm skeptical, but that's what he wants to tell me. Even as that lump in his neck grows bigger.... Alarmingly so, that I can't take my eyes off it sometimes. It appears to be ping pong ball size now, when he shrugs his shoulders and it bulges out.

After he left, I bought a few more 6-packs of shade annuals, potted them up into hanging baskets, and hung them in strategic spots to block the neighbor's cameras and general nosiness.

Then, I went for a bike ride, a kind of a meandering ride through neighborhood streets. I saw a cormorant close up. When I wound up at the south end of Como Lake I headed north on the path and just as I was going to turn east to head home, I saw someone I thought might be my daughter...and when I got closer, I saw it was my daughter and husband and the kids! They were taking a break, having biked halfway around the lake. We rode over to a nearby playground and I pushed the kids on swings, etc.

She told me this absolutely horrible story about the top client at her company, a MAGA Floridian, a misogynist who dismissed whatever she had to say during their tele-meeting, who went off on a rant about the fraud in MN, about the dumb people in a town in MN where he'd bought out a company, and he went on to badmouth MN doctors as caring more for the community than the companies they work for. ???? I was stunned (but doesn't that just encompass everything MAGA stands for? That it is bad to care for others?) She said she couldn't just sit there in the meeting and take his garbage and my daughter responded in her calm, direct, authoritative way she has and when he tried to silence her, she again responded with her cool tone. She is so tired of non-doctors and non-lawyers thinking they know more about medicine/law than the actual doctors/lawyers. She doesn't even care if she is pulled from the account or is fired. I am so proud of her and so glad she maintains those values I raised her with and speaks out. We just can't continue giving these misinformed haters a silent audience.

But it just sits wrong with me in every way. Especially since the Assahollah has been destroying MN's reputation and leaders with falsehoods. If fraud was confined to MN only, I could understand. But the problem is in every state and throughout the federal govt. (Remember Mississippi and Brett Favre anyone??? And several 'red' states have much higher rates of fraud than MN.) And much of what they're calling fraud here is coding errors, not intentional fraud. This is not about fraud, this is 100% political retribution, that the leaders in our state stood up to/ran against him and that makes the Assahollah angry. It has zero to do with fraud. Just as the invasion in the winter had nothing to do with the worst of the worst. And that makes me angry.

I read today that the corrupt gangsters now want banks to start reporting people who use TIN instead of SSN because "illegals" use that number more often with banking and taxes. But wait? I thought the illegals just mooched off the government, they don't save money or pay taxes. Which is it? 🤔

And I am really upset about what that person did to that guy. I knew she was a fake and a flake from the start, and I was surprised when he interacted with her and then saw that grow to more. I didn't realize how involved it got, but now that she's destroyed him, I'm pissed.

It is 59F this morning but I swear there is a windchill from the strong north wind. It was cold when I took dog out!!
