Another productive Saturday. After grocery shopping I grilled a pork tenderloin and made hashbrowns for honey's dinners. Got the thunbergia planted and inverted tomato cages for it to climb. Planted marigolds and zinnia and sunflower seeds. Planted glads and cannas in both the front and back yards. Meanwhile, honey helped me take down the rusty weird fence thing that served no purpose and he worked on the shop door. After he went home, I headed to the nursery. I ended up spending $135 on one Mandarin honeysuckle vine, 2 dianthus Firewitch, 1 nepeta Cat's Meow, 1 heliopsis Sole Scuro and three guara. Got those home and planted. So now, I think all I have left is mulching this new garden and maybe planting some vegetables--I'm thinking bell peppers for sure. Lettuce? All the while I was working, I was enveloped in the sweet aroma of this beautiful lilac:

Lilacs! How I love them! It will be nice to see your garden grow... those are great choices. I hope they do well.
