It's important that I write. To get it out of my head, foremost, because I would go mad if I left it all inside. My head does not let go unless I write it out. But if what I write can open eyes and hearts, if the truth I speak will cause others to speak as well, then that's a bonus.

Yesterday I saw my neighbor outside. I haven't seen him since the murder of Renee Good, at which time I was very distraught. He asked me if I was doing any better. Oh no, I said. I am not. What's going on? he asked. So I told him about SIL's father. Neighbor was confused. Why would they stop him if he wasn't doing anything wrong? Why indeed? For being Asian. And so, I listed the many instances of what was going on, from random stops, to door-to-door knocking in neighborhoods trying to get neighbors to turn in neighbors, to gas stations, funeral homes, to kidnapping parents as they drop off their kids and how there are organized groups of white parents driving these terrified kids to school, to citizens being detained for hours with no contact, to ICE ramming cars, and on and on. How nonwhite citizens are carrying their passports at all times in case they are confronted. This was all news to him. His youtube news feed algorithm is hiding the truth from him. He seemed deeply concerned. "I thought they were just going after the criminals and Somalis." I wanted to knock him upside the head for his ignorance. I told him my daughter's plan for her family. I told him my plan for my nonwhite neighbors. He brought up Walz declaring MN a sanctuary state and I explained to him, for the SECOND time in the last few months, that Walz did no such thing, that each city council decides whether they will be sanctuary cities and what means. That the local police department will not assist in federal immigration enfocement. I know where his news feed comes from now. He tried to bring up fraud, and I told him that fraud is miniscule compared to what is happening to real people, to real citizens, right now in this community.

After 20 minutes I had to go back to work, I was on my lunchbreak. His departing words? "Well, back to watching golf."

What the fuck? I was literally shaking as I stood inside my kitchen after, trying to mentally get back to a place where I could work.

I texted him later that he might want to advise his pal Pancho, from Puerto Rico, to carry his proof of citizenship.

Last night I watched part of our city council meeting. I watched the public comment period for two hours as person after person, white and nonwhite, told of their encounters with the thugs and urged the council to adopt a stronger stance. I've since learned the public comment period went on for another two hours!

And the demented one made it very clear in his post: Reckoning & Retribution. Yes, the day of reckoning will come for you and for all who support and are carrying out this inhumane treatment of people. Retribution in some form will come to them. On the other hand, his post only confirms the accusations in the lawsuits filed recently. Thanks dude for supplying evidence to hold against you.

If there is anyone reading this, I beg you. Please learn more. Please read what is coming out from legitimate news sources, not just some punk with a microphone knocking on daycare doors, demanding to be let in. Please tell your friends what is happening. Please ask them to tell their friends what is happening. Minnesota is just the start. This will spread to other communities and states.
