My wrist bruised up during the day and the pain didn't decrease. I always try to tough things out but after last summer's hospitalization, I'm trying to be better about it, even though I have to pay what I imagine will be at least $1000. So I ended up going to urgent care after work. They took some x-rays but nothing is broken. (But I also learned I have arthritis in my wrist. Yay me!) I can't spread my fingers or bend my wrist or put any pressure or weight on my hand without pain, just holding my phone is too painful. And it was a difficult night every time I rolled over and forgot about it not being useful to pull up the blankets. Oh well. This morning, it is a lot more swollen. Sprains suck, because they take months to heal.

It was a coyote morning this morning. A light fog over the lake made the sunrise breathtaking. As

I walked further along, I spotted a lone coyote foraging for fish scraps. If I walked, the coyote walked.

If I stopped, the coyote stopped. I approached grumpy lady (she never says hello to me when I greet her) and she was watching the coyote too. I said, "Isn't it neat?" And she spoke to me! We had a brief conversation about coyotes in the area. She didn't smile once. But at least I got her to talk!

It sounds like Markwayne Mullin will get approved to lead the DHS because of that doofus Fetterman. Why anyone would approve someone who has displayed his violent words and actions with no regret is beyond me. Every appointee approved by the senate has lied about how they were going to lead.This dude is telling them exactly how he'll act and Fetterman is all for it. Fuck him. The DHS won't change under him. If anything it will get worse and more violent.
