I went for a short bike ride after work, and saw these geese herding 23 goslings across the lake!

That is waaay too many geese to bring into the world! I think the weasels and coyotes and eagles have been slacking off and need to get busy thinning the crowd.

Even the red-bellied woodpecker likes the jelly feeder. (I love how it uses its tail for support.)

I slept poorly, too hot. I will probably have to turn the AC on for tonight as we're going to have another 90F day and the house is currently 76F. Getting very close to my tolerance level.

Ordered another pair of biking shorts. Twenty+ colors/patterns to choose from and in the end I opted for black heather. It took me a half hour to decide. I would like to order colorful, I really would, but in the end, I couldn't do it. I can't draw that much attention to myself that a flashy pattern might attract. And I am much too critical of myself (my fatty legs) to draw that kind of attention. I still don't understand why so much fat has gathered around the knee. I do understand why I don’t want to attract attention.

Lugged a 2-gallon water can 3/4 of a block to water some plants at a memorial at the corner where new flowers were planted over the weekend but the family that plants them doesn't tend to them once they're planted. I hate seeing wilting new plants. I wish we'd get a tstorm and some rain.
