Heavy fog and dreary this morning, I am damp from the walk. The juncos are still here, so it is not yet spring as far as I'm concerned. However, the frogs have awakened from their winter torpor.

And I saw this duck in a tree. I'm always surprised when I see ducks in trees, because they're usually associated with water and land waddling.

Dreamed last night that I was a personal assistant to a very wealthy man (who looked like a young Alex Baldwin). He lived in a huge house with two attached garages. He gave me his car keys and asked me to start the car. It was my first day working for him, so I went to the first garage. It was large enough to hold 8 cars. But his car wasn't there. Instead, there were 6 cars, and all the cars had people living in their cars. I opened the garage door and they all drove away. And I wondered if he ever used this garage because he obviously didn't know people were living there. I found my way to the other garage where I found several of my relatives having a party. My second cousin Ed, and my cousins Heidi and Debbie, and my godmother were there. Heidi was trans, sporting a red beard. I asked what their pronouns were. Then my boss appeared and asked what was taking so long, so I explained I couldn't find his car. Weird.

Took another bike ride in a different direction after dinner yesterday. 5.3 miles 45 minutes. I rode around Como Lake. The trouble with heading that direction is that no matter what street or path you take, it is uphill for almost the first mile. One road it is gradual, one path is curvy and much longer than it needs to be, and another is a steep hill for 3 blocks. I took the curvy path, and it was a tough ride fo​r these out of shape thighs of mine. At one point I thought I was going to start rolling backward, even though I was peddling lol! But I made it and took that as a win.

Work wasn't as bad as I thought, but today may be bad?
