At the jelly feeder yesterday: one male Goldfinch, the pair of house finches, 1 male cardinal and the first ruby-throated hummingbird of the season, who left the feeder and then flew over and faced my office window as if to say, "Hello, I'm back! Where's my sugar water?" I actually waved back at it haha! I filled and hung the hummingbird feeder on my lunchbreak.
The miniature tulips finally opened with some sun.

Work this week seems to be me finding one issue after another and then I am serving as the go between for all parties involved in order to solve the problem. I even had to talk to the OWNER on a three-way call, because the person I was trying to explain the problem and solution to was just not comprehending. When did I become the problem solver? I'm not paid enough for these responsibilities. At least my 'real' job is running slower than usual that I can deal with it. But yesterday alone I had problem solving with these departments: bids, accounts receivable, orders, IT, customer service, digital services, and one partner vendor.
Saw 4 mallard ducklings last evening in the park! It seems kind of early for babies. Mama was trying to herd them to the grassy side of the pond to hide, but one little duck kept scooting quickly in the wrong direction. It's pretty funny seeing them take their first swims.
Great Blue Heron on the lake this morning.
I like how they always seem to be posing for a picture.
I continue to feel out of sorts. But I recognize this happens every spring now. Could be allergy related. Could be how stinking long it takes to warm up outside (37F this morning.) I just don't feel excited about anything. Not that there's much to be happy about. I just want to spend my days outside in the sun though, not in the cold house doing stupid work.

As Spring continues to warm up, the want and need to get out comes into my mind, too.
That's a great shot of the Heron! Wow.
Thanks! Herons are on the top of the list of my favorite birds.
