Pizza

Wednesday turned out to be a dud. The best thing about it was the pizza I had for dinner. I haven't had pizza in well over a year. Maybe two. And the frozen cheese pizza in my freezer was nearing its expiration date. So I dressed it up with peppers, onions and mushrooms and ate a third of it. (So many calories!) I still think as far as gluten-free frozen pizza goes, Target's brand is the best I've had.

It was cloudy and wet until noon, so I did indoor things, like vacuuming and putting away the clutter. And even though the skies threatened rain all day, I took dog for a walk after lunch and let him attract the horseflies. Did some weeding. Picked up my prescription ointment. Browned 4lbs of ground turkey. All very boring stuff.

Daughter never got back to me about the event in the park last evening that I had sent her on Sunday so I went on an 11-mi bike ride instead, since the sky had cleared somewhat. People were being really dumb last evening though. Walking 5 across on the bike lane and not parting for bikers to get past. Others stopping their movement on the path but not moving to the side, instead blocking the bike lane. Little kids on scooters weaving wildly on the lane with no knowledge of bike lane etiquette. Dog walkers with the leash extended across the lane. There are pictures of bicycles on the path, and walkers on the walking path. Seems pretty obvious to me, no? But still, they walk in the bike lane. And then, 4 blocks from home, it started to rain, hard, and I was soaked through when I arrived home. There was no rain on the radar when I left. I checked! Just goes to show how unstable the weather has been lately.

Back to work today 😫

Friendliness is contagious. I think more people should try it.
