I dropped off the May Day baskets over my lunch break and later, the kids FaceTimed me to see if it was from me. So I asked them to think about the clues that would make it me.

Hmmm...no one knows our door lock code but you.

Hmmm..you have colored paper, Granny.

Yes I do.

And it has our names and flowers on it.

But lots of people know your names. Is there anything in the basket that would make you think it was me?

And then I explained that if they had caught me dropping off the May Day baskets, they'd have to kiss me (ewww!) so I had to sneak them over.

And grandson told me he rode his bike home from school with his mom, and his sister was in the buggy. How far was the ride, I asked. It was 2.5 miles. For a 6 year old! We'll go on a bike ride as soon as it warms up, I said.

Work hurt my head yesterday. I caught two major pricing mistakes in two separate incidents. One was a typo by our company in a contract and another by a partner vendor who didn't think things through when they raised their prices. I kind of enjoyed dropping my findings in their inboxes on a Friday afternoon though, lol! As I told honey about it over tacos he didn't say anything, just smiled. What?? I asked. He said, I'm just enjoying that for as much as you hate math, here you are doing mathematical forensics. I laughed. It isn't the math part I enjoy though, I explained. It was the forensics part. Why was this happening with the prices? I needed to know the answer.

We went to a Cinco de Mayo car show after tacos. Lots of beautifully restored lowrider cars. Although I would have liked to see them in action, instead of parked. Honey told me about the history of lowriders, how they came to be. Unfortunately, the blasting music and weed smell left me rather sick to my stomach and with a headache.
