Well I'm happy the entire entry I wrote yesterday reappeared this morning so I could post it.

I had almost no pain yesterday, except that one time shoveling. Hurray! I made it through the first flare since October without antibiotics or a hospital stay. I added in more solids yesterday that added 5 grams of fiber, with the aim of getting back to 30g by next week.

The neighbor across the street ended up finishing my driveway for me with his snowblower which i appreciated, because the temp was high enough to melt any ice.

Pretty concerned about what Congress is trying to do with public lands. They're starting with MN to allow a Chilean mining company to mine at the headwaters of the Boundary Waters. The environmental and other reports were already completed and signed off and mining banned a few years ago, but the House of Reps passed a bill to change the 60 day window to overturn the rulings to unlimited days or years to circumvent the mining ban. The bill is now at the Senate. If the Senate passes it, this will open up ALL previously protected public lands in the US to mining, lumber, oil, etc. and put $$ into foreign and billionaire pockets while creating few jobs and decimating the environment. Republican Senators need to be convinced this is a bad idea. We'll see what happens....
