Got 1.5" of steady rain from 3-7pm yesterday, so no evening exercise. I read for an hour instead.
My phone has been ringing nonstop since Sunday from the roofing vultures. Over 40 calls and two texts so far. It should be a crime to track someone down and harass them this way. I have removed my online info as much as I can. Google my name and city and nothing appears. But they still find a way to track me down. Honey has been getting calls too since he is also listed as owner of this house, just not as many calls as me.
Still obsessing about the cactus flowers
Got a picture of the albino squirrel thats been running around
I'm not a squirrel lover by any means, but there's something special about these white ones.
So incredible watching the Assahollah break down right before our eyes. He is a GREAT BIG MUSHY BLOB OF FAILURE. His name will be used as a verb in the future, as in 'Man, you really Donnied that attempt," when someone really messes something up and has a massive FAIL. What a bunch of buffoons in the administration, bungling everything from the reflecting pool to Iran to trade to intimidating political enemies. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Epstein files, trampling constitutional rights, rising prices, corruption. And on and on and on. It's been 10 years and I am still waiting for that beautiful health care plan promised to replace Obamacare to be revealed. I question the intelligence of anyone who still supports this administration. Or do people just fall in line hoping they'll be protected for being loyal? If so, the loyalty only goes one way.
Slept poorly, hence the reason for my curmudgeonish attitude today.
That elderly person down the street should have his license pulled. Every morning he pulls his massive pickup out into speeding traffic and takes his time crossing the road. And every morning people honk at him or have to brake for him. One of these days someone will not be paying attention and crash. He has run me off the road enough times that I now cross to the opposite site to avoid him. He has zero depth perception and zero perception of the space his massive truck takes up. It's just a matter of time before he either causes a crash or hits a pedestrian or bicyclist.
I miss the Saint Paul writer. She made me laugh.
