degrees f and with the wind chill factor -14 this morning. what else could a girl do but don the running gear and head out the door into tundra land. yes. it was freakin' cold but i didn't really know the temp until i got back home and turned the tv on. i have to say that i did see 4 other people running and/or walking this morning. all women! you GO girls! the key to any outdoor activity in this type of weather is to layer the clothing on, keeping the core layer anti-cotton. when cotton gets wet, it stays wet. apparel made of lycra spandex with a cool max lining will keep moisture away from your skin and dry fast.

okay. Eagles fever is reaching a peak. the contant spelling and singing of the song for this team is driving me nuts. i'm convinced that philly fans are completely out of their minds. one of the radio stations here had a contest with people competing for play-off tickets. one lady wagered her wedding album. she lost and the album was run through a shredder. last year's winner put up his father-in-laws ashes. i almost vomited when he lost and had to flush them. people wagered their cars, wedding rings, wedding dresses, family heirlooms... a truly disgusting contest. surely, these folk can come up with a better contest that will ensure a die-hard eagles fan would win.

You have got to be kidding me! I never considered Philly as part of the same culture that makes Springer fans.

Go winter maidens =)
