spoke to the neighbor about the abscence of the porch ceiling dog. dog is with daughter now, i was glad she was okay.
today is stress-free friday. (every year it rains.) there are fish mobiles, seahorse decorations, mylar palm trees, and last time i walked through the foyer, a tub with floating rubber duckies. ;-)) i may go this year. i did bring in the italian cookies that, i believe, must be at least 200 calories each. THESE! are Italian Cookies! no acme wannabe. damn. i should have eaten more than one... traveled to South Philly for those babies... had no clue where i was going...but got to the bakery in the nick of time. while the kind lady was preparing my order, i scoped the display case and saw the most beautiful dessert...a Grand Marnier mousse tulip! the tulip was made out of chocolate. :-)

Reunion Weekend! I'm headed down to Kennett Square to a nice, luxurious hotel room, to be followed tomorrow by a cardiography continuing education session, a picnic (in the rain, dammit), and a buffet dinner (I was promised they'd have low sodium fare for me!).
I do love weekends. May you enjoy yours as much as I intend to enjoy mine.
