gloomy day today, a 40 degree drop in temp will do that. mix in clouds and gray and stir it with a whipping wind and you've got October again. but i'm keeping april tucked inside my soul. its light pinks and pale yellows are sneaking peeks outside the door.

there was a time i'd want to stay stone cold november, got tired of the rising sun. it's comfortable being miserable, and you're never alone.

i've realized by listening to dull voices, resigned to the bitter facts, i'm wasting my time, wasting my life. do you find you've done that too?

there comes a time, a day, when you realize that you need to move your ass in a direction...any will do, as long as it's forward. you need to pick your causes, have convictions. step up to bat and swing at the ball, cut unhealthy people off no matter how sexy they are. shut out the cowards afraid to raise their hands but who always seem to mouth off. and pity the ones who puff themselves up because they're really empty inside.

i'm aware of my imperfections, but i always seem to find something beautiful tucked inside each day.
