i logged approximately 11 miles last week. this week, i'll shoot for 15, but today is rest day. it's amazing that the farther i run, the easier it gets. yesterday, i ran 4 miles. on the way back home, the particular course i run becomes a long killer hill. after reaching a plateau, and tuned into breakfast with the Beatles, i broke into a spontaneous dance, still running of course. don't know why. i'm sure some of the people driving by me were amused. ;-))

sometimes you have to do what you have to do and not care about what anyone might think. that's such a straitjacket to put yourself in and a total waste of time.

Ms. Calicohead is still a landshark when it comes to getting her meds. i feel a little bit awful, but i spend a good 10 minutes kissing her head and rubbing her ears and then, WHAM!, in goes the syringe and squirt goes the medicine in her mouth...
i kiss her some more and give her a full blubber massage. she loves it!
yesterday afternoon we three had a good nap on the couch. Calicohead under my bent knees, Orangehead on my chest (she had a little bit of a snore going).

this morning was cold, but the sky is a clear blue and the sun is out in full force. it's coat and turtleneck weather. and dammit! christmas carol time too.
heck, the holidays come way too fast, you can always tell by the item displays at any local drugstore.
