sunday
not much today
just slipped away and even in the big city, the herded masses were quiet. i hear God calling but i kept walking anyway. the spires mark the spot. but i'd rather see the world's godness in open air. in dog smiles and in old man faces,
gently sleeping on park benches. i think about those in the midst of violent crimes while the little girl reaches for mile high ice cream cone or while the neighbor lugs laundry to the dark dungeon of a basement.

what is my task that keeps me here? what is yours that does the same?
it's a quiet sunday for some, a dark one for others. they'll be a time when all the noise and confusion go away. i know i'll be home then. ever optimistic.

snatch the ice cream, find a good tune to vibrate the spirit and twirl about the room.

can't figure out the task that keeps me here, that's for sure. let me know when you find yours (besides reminding us all that there all talented, good souls out there, which is a lot) and where!
