morning glory
walking under overcast sky, i spy this morning's resident robins and brown sparrows chit chatting, and singing their songs. a lone dog bark echos across the empty streets. everyone's in bed accept for me.
i could be a spaceman walking in strangeness. the world never seems to stop, but right now it's quiet and calm. i pay homage to the beautiful trees with gorgeous green leaves, the flower buds blooming, the blades of grass standing straight up. they seem to wait for admiration, but we're too stuck on our papers and steering wheels. you miss alot driving by all of this.
sometimes i forget just how beautiful this world really is, i get lost in the sidewalk, the pavement and ugly buildings that line the streets. and then i'm reminded by the diving bird that's pulled in its wings, in a swan dive, playing with air. and the dog jumping circles around itself in happiness to see me.
