i am freakin' freezing!!! why oh why do they crank the ac when we get a day that's in the 40's??? i'm about ready to put my gloves on.

monday. i'm waiting for the book i borrowed to come in. it's probably sitting upstairs but the person that processes them isn't here today!

lunch was a salad with Ken's Northern Italian dressing (great dressing).

when i was in chicago, we ate at a pizza/restaurant place and while i didn't have the chicago style pizza, the pizza i did have was absolutely awesome!!!! i only had 2 slices (they were small) but that's only because i had a few slices of the delicious italian bread served with olive oil and parmesan cheese on a plate for dipping. ;-)) i love bread. (but it sure can contribute to the pounds)
for dessert we had an order of Big Ass Cannoli (that was how it was listed on the menu) served in a huge! martini glass.
there were about 8 small cannoli shells and the filling (complete with awesome chocolate chip morsels) was plopped in the center of the glass (a hefty portion with whipped cream and cherries). our waiter (who deserved the good tip he got, gave us each a mug of decaf coffee topped off with whipped cream and chocolate sauce (this awesome treat was on him!)

i would have died happy after eating that meal.

i'm a huge bread fan and sweets fan.
