holiday cheer
i'm not a big thanksgiving day fan. it seems to me it is just another reason to overindulge. it's really a privilege to be able to go into a grocery store and buy whatever we want. i try not to take that for granted. i used to fast on the big meal day but the past few years i haven't and it looks like i won't be this time around either. perhaps the day before...

i am looking forward to having a couple of days off from work. that! is always welcomed. of course, this time of the year everyone wants to take the same days off and there is usually some poor sorry soul that gets stuck holding the bag. it's me and another co-worker this year. and, it's a given that anything that can go wrong with the network, with machinary etc etc, will go wrong, because there won't be anyone around to help. ain't i lucky?! ;-)

lord, give me retirement soon.

in other news... i'm not as sore as i thought i'd be thanks to my stretching right after the race and when i got home. plus it helped that i walked a few city blocks to catch the bus home. the only thing i managed to do yesterday was to put the new shower liner on. the rest of the day was filled with reading the sunday paper, watching the boob-tube, and napping with the cats (i think this is one of my favorite things to do on sunday and i know the cats love it too).

i hope the rain holds off so that i can get a quick run in before it gets dark. other than that, i need to get some serious cleaning done, and laundry too!! lucky me. :-))

ciao&meow.

According to the last weather report I heard, you should have an excellent chance of getting your run in today.

i accept Thanksgiving, but only because i attach my own sentiment to it rather than going with everyone else's.

Glad you're not too sore.
