i consider myself to be a reasonable person. i'm not a hard-ass. but when it feels like i'm being used or messed with, the forked tongue comes out. for the past few weeks, i've turned a blind eye to one of our student workers waiting for me to leave my work area so that he could use the computer while i'm logged in and do whatever it is that he needs to do. normally, i wouldn't have a problem with this, but what makes me suspicious of him is that he waits for me to be physically away from the area, to do what he has to do. i usually catch him trying to finish up in hurry...

so, i informed his boss and he was spoken to. and what happens this morning but the same damned thing...

i finally spoke up and told him to use the computer that is logged in for the students. and then he made a big mistake...he got smart with me. "i didn't know it was a crime to blah, blah, blah..." to which i said, "i never said it was a crime to blah, blah, blah...what i said was to use that computer, not the one i'm logged in on." then he said, "this is ridiculous". my reply, "there are plenty of things in life that are ridiculous". he walked away.

1. i don't have the patience for bullshit.
2. don't fuck with me.
3. and now i WILL be a hard-ass when it comes to him.
