i finished "The Lovely Bones" and was a teeny weeny bit disappointed with the haste the writer took in resolving issues with the criminal in the book, other than that, i loved the story.

watched Ivanhoe (cheesy but good nonetheless) and Gentleman's Agreement (what can i say, it's a super film and Peck is great!)

checked out another book "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" by Mary Roach. read the first chapter already. once you get past the nasty visuals you cook up in your head, it's a damned good read, really interesting and surprisingly funny. *but i'm glad i'm vegetarian...

getting myself ready to go home. it's been a while and i've tried to take long weekends in order to fit a visit in but it's too tough. public transportation on the weekends sucks. but they keep raising fares...

i need to crack open that darned driving instructions book. that book i can't manage to get through. i'll read a 300 page book, but one that's 45? forget it.
