Thu Apr 24 2003 - wacky weed.
wacky weed.
sprinkle it, moma on my toys.
work it in honey, on the blue shag rug.
lay it down across the windowsill
yes, dear sweetie,
'til i get my fill.
watch me be a fur pretzel.
comb the sides of my face,
no rug burn!
here i'm laying feet hanging down,
buzzed to high heaven
on most excellent cat love!

brought to you by the sheer joyness of receiving notice in the mail that our landlady is finally RECYCLING!!!
i've only been bugging her for 1 1/2 years...

You've been into the catnip?

RECYCLING, We have been doing that here for a very long time. If we don't put the proper trash in the proper can the city refuses to pick up the trash.

I've 2 green cans for grass and cuttings. A black can for trash, a gray can for recycling.
It does make a difference =D

LOL! not me, the kitties got a treat because receiving that letter yesterday really made my night. i've been trying to buy things with the least amount of packaging because the trash collecting co. working for the landlady did not recycle (even though it's the law!). i even stopped buying the newspaper until 2 wks ago...now, i'll save them and any cans etc. for when recycling starts (May).
my treat was a cadbury creme egg!

A few manage to remain unsullied. Then again, true talent comes from the heart and soul, so the ones truest to their hearts and souls will shine brightly above the pale light of the others.

Makes me wonder about the McCarthy era, though. What great talents and minds were condemned to obscurity through political machinations simply because they refused to tell anything but the truth? I may not know their names, but I admire them.
