Refrain from Defending Your Reputation or Intentions
don't be afraid of verbal abuse or criticism.
only the morally weak feel compelled to defend or explain themselves to others. let the quality of your deeds speak on your behalf.
i hear you.
i'm having one helluva time here at work. this situation has gotten to the point of depressing me Monday through to Friday (when i finally get relief). Needless to say, it's a crappy way to work. i feel like i'm consistantly being tested and pushed around. we recently got results from a survey of our services. i have to wonder why staff members in a certain time slot were not present and not required to be present when there were a good number of complaints regarding that shift. this is the way it always is. it was the type of meeting that EVERYONE should have been at.
there was a complaint involving me..but i still fail to understand how sitting in a dark work area, no lights on, no staff member at the front desk, no other patrons around at all...how this can be a mistake...
apparently the hours of operation listed on the front door wasn't enough of a clue to tell this complainer that we were not yet open for business. the lack of light, staff, and other patrons (all clues buddy!)
the front door was left open. and should not have been.

underhanded handling of situations...and people.
i pray for another job nightly.
