My Thoughts For July 9th

Getting a break from dialysis today, and it being Deb’s day off, I never left my bed today. I love having my Wednesdays like that all day from morning to night at least once a week. Because of my kidney disease and dialyzing 4x a week at home, not getting out of bed is treat I give myself because sometimes I find it hard getting out of bed after a night of not sleeping well during the night for some reason. Due to the fact of kidney disease of my transplanted kidney after 30+ years after my first transplant in March 1988, I am heading towards my second kidney transplant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin instead of Madison this time due to it the statistics being better than Madison according to what Jackie found out through reading about transplants and care of patients receiving kidney transplants apparently, I have decided to take a look into it my self and agreed with Jackie about Milwaukee being better in mediCal care in my health. Having spent a few days getting my colon done at Froedert HospitAl in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this time, and in agreement with Jackie about the atmosphere is nicer there. The staff at Froedert Hospital are more friendly there to be honest with you. I am treated as a person and not just a patient there. I feel human there compared Madison UW to be very honest with YOU! Again, agreeing with Jackie on the best medical care of a hospital setting. To me, the atmosphere may be an hospital setting and smells ARE BETTER than the UW Hospital settings that is always changing atv the UW Madison Is ALWAYS CHANGING at the UW there! lol… I am happy and okay with the slight change in doctors and last doctor at the UW in Madison is NOT there anymore. He had either moved on or retired. The kidney specialists at Froedert Hospital are also from other countries as well from other states of the United States, too, that make me feel comfortable with the staff at Froedert safe in my book of medical care. Even though, after leaving Janesville at only taking 45 minutes to get to Madison, Wisconsin is shorter than the 1 1/2 hour drive to Froedert Hospital is a little longer distance wise, the atmosphere is nicer and better. Milwaukee has my vote honestLy, ❤️👌… Also, I feel I am taking my trust the I in total straI once knew instead of people I once I knew into my medical care for d the first time ever!! I believe those new people will handle my care for the first time in my life! So far so good the people who do work at Froedert have been trusted this far in my kidney transplant care thus Froedert Hospital … out of my medical care here .as far as my medical care is concerned in med and the food from their Cafeteria does taste good enough to have a couple of weeks of yucky and bland hos food that does have sime good taste if you like hospital food. I do usually mind it being a patient in the hospital in 1988 for three weeks as of March 12, 1988. At that time, my Aunt Dorothy, was in the hospital due to the fact she was in the hospital herself for a length of time I do not remember for what. She is gone now, but she was ill and always in good Karnopp spirits in seeing family visits while at the UW Hospital and Clinics for a lengthy visit.

Well… it is time to say good night and bye for the night and get some sleep as I have dialysis treatment for 3 hours tomorrow and my caregivers are going to be here by 7:15a and 7:30a because of their need to be somewhere tomorrow/Thursday afternoon, so it sounds like it’s going to be one of those busy days for my girls tomorrow while Jackie and I have dialysis treatment to get through Froday morning early because have an appointment at 11a at Riverview Heigets about moving there as of October 1, 2026! Woohoo, I am leaving Garden Court Apartments after 6 years of good and bad management here. Management actually got pretty bad here during my 6 years here for some reason that I cannot explain what happened to the good management and care of the building has happened here. It is time, once again, spiritually, to move and settle my Karnopp roots elsewhere once more. Us Karnopp people do NOT like living in one spot for too long. We like to plant our roots for so long and move onward to another place. Yes, my family moved around a lot when I was growing up apparently. I did not like it at first, but I understand why my dad was one to plant his family from one place to another in his life while all my life, seeing my grandma Clara Smith Karnopp-Bachelor move from place to place from a trailer park to an apartment, and then got remarried to Harry Bachelor in 1980 for 15 years before passing away in 1985 when I was 15 and Harry outlived Grandma Karnopp for another ten to twelve years. He was considered Unclof rHarry to me for some reason. When I was 3 or 4 years old Grandpa Karnopp passed away for some reason leaving pudwGrandma Karnopp without a husband all of my childhood for I believe was a heart attack in 1973 or 1974. All I have to do is look at my dad to see what Grandp Karnopp looked like to see what he looked like as a child what Grandpa looked like after he passed away from illness ... Good night and bye for now. More tomorrow as my iPad has 11% battery life left before it needs to be charged in the morning while I am dialyzing for 3 hours tomorrow. Good night when Grandma Clarsca Karnopp Bachelor died in July 1985 when I turned 15 years old. My iPad is now 9%! More later.

So you are on a kidney transplant list now? Or will go on one at this new hospital? And I'm glad to hear about the move, it sounds like it will be a nicer place for you!
