Ok, I need to find a name for the monkey who likes to mess with me once in a while. Hmm, not Donkey Kong or King Kong. Those two names belong to apes…not monkeys, right? Yeah, I guess so. This morning, Jackie ended up not seeing me go outside to wait for my ride that was going to be coming within minutes to take me to my dialysis treatment before my dialysis weekend began at 4 pm until Tuesday afternoon from 12:40 pm to 3:40 pm. That’s the time I’m on the machine at Fresenius Kidney Care Dialysis Center. If I am put on early because I always arrive by 11:30 am, it works for me and them. Especially on a Saturday afternoon. I was not impressed with the fact that she, Jackie, went to talk to a neighbor instead of seeing me out to my ride this morning. The monkey came to mess with me by making me feel I was important enough to her. As soon as we got down to the lobby, she went to talk to a neighbor she became friends with when he moved in and she said she will be right back, but she never came back to see me out to my ride. I ended up saying hello to the driver Adam while he was hooking me in the van for the ride to treatment. I was quiet and not in the mood to talk this morning. By the time I got into the lobby of the clinic to wait for my dialysis treatment, I wanted to cry and scream, but I held my ground to wait.
Getting to the clinic early doesn’t mean that I get on the machine early or not, but today I got on by 11:50 am. It is the earliest I have ever been put on a machine since I began going to Fresenius Kidney Care Dialysis Center as of July 1st, 2025. I have been going to Fresenius for a month and one day now. More about my treatment in My Fresenius Kidney Care Journal later today. I’m trying to get caught up with my journaling right now while at dialysis and it’s fairly quiet today. The technicians and nurse are busy getting their stuff done and taking care of their patients. Christina the technician put me on while a new traveling tech named Paula took me off today, and helped me out the door with ease. More at my Fresenius Kidney Care Journal.📓
More thoughts later…
