Welcoming the Month of May
Let’s welcome May as April leaves the stage until 2026. Hello to the month of May and see you next year, April, as we have left winter behind and spring is now here. Between March and April, Janesville, Wisconsin has dealt with real nice weather where jackets and sweaters worked wonderfully for the afternoon while out and about this week to appointments and back. It does feel good to have found my happiness again. I believe that during winter and fall months, depression and anxiety want to rear their ugliness in me, and I find myself more comfortable in my home watching tv, reading a good book, writing in my journals. I know I have many journals at Dear Diary, but sometimes I have a lot to say, and I need a place to write. DD has been my home away from home to visit every day of the week or whenever I write.
A Look Into My Day
I have one day of treatment tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing the weekend. I hope I see my boyfriend and his mom this weekend Sunday morning for a while. We watch Extreme Home Makeovers with Ty Pennington. I enjoy being with them. So, today, with time running close to bedtime, I am watching The Best of Dr. Phil on the ROKU channels. I also read a bit as today was a day in bed here.. Jackie, my caregiver, was here from 9:45 am to 1:30 pm today. We watch Pulse, a Netflix original I believe. It’s an ok sort of medical drama, but once Jackie leaves, I tune into Dr. Phil for me to watch and listen to. Next week, Monday and Tuesday, I will be at Froedert in Milwaukee for my first colonoscopy. I am not looking forward to it. I am very nervous over it.
