When I found out about Dear Diary in 2001 by looking 👀 on the internet for a free diary to write in. That was 24 years ago I believe. I was in the need of a special place to write and wholla, I found Dear Diary and some friends who later became friends on Facebook and Twitter/X, and Instagram. I don’t understand why Twitter was changed to X, and with the name change, I still consider Twitter and nothing else. Anyway,I am a stickler of organizing my thoughts that get scrambled on a weekly basis, and writing is easier for me to do than speaking out my feelings and thoughts. Public speaking is not a specialty of mine unless I write my reason for being there. I have been to many meetings asking for funding from the state, and we had to go to the court house to those meetings. When it comes to certain programs and needs. Hmmm, how times have changed in the years I have been in and out of programs since December 1989. UCP Apartment Living Program/IDS (Independent Disability Services), and seeing people come and go in such programs. Being a part of United Way was important to me. Then DD moved and I became a paying customer and then Steve Brown found a way to bring DD back to its former glory, I followed b e c a u s e DD has always been my home away from home 🏠 🏡. The cost from 3.99 has been worth it all this time. So the amount of journals and diaries I have, have a place that is special for me, for us wanna-be writers of our stories in our lives.
