My day will not be starting until Jackie gets here around 9:30 or 9:45 AM. Deb has the day off unless I see her after dialysis treatment when I get done this afternoon. I am on the machine from 12:40 pm to 3:40 pm when Michelle the nurse is not there. On Saturdays, I might get on the machine early, but not every treatment at Kidney Care Clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays . Sometimes on a Saturday I am on time or sometimes earlier. It depends on the dialysis technician. I am very happy at Kidney Care Clinic. I have been having less meltdowns because the stress isn’t there as much. I did have a small meltdown yesterday afternoon when Jackie left for the day when I could not find my medication on the table next to my bed. I got pissed off for a few minutes and asked Jackie where my meds were. She told me where they were. My cup of ice was hiding the bottles of meds from being seen by my eyes. What. A. Few. Minutes of a meltdown that wasn’t necessary…dang it! I hate them! Damn monkey brain wanting and getting his damn banana again! Oh well. I am fine now and waiting for Jackie to get here now.
