I woke up here around 4:45 am wanting to move my iPad. I pushed the button and the screen did NOT show the screen. My iPad was black like my watch screen was Friday morning when Deb handed it to me. I did not panic or freak out, yet. Set the iPad aside after closing the cover, grabbed my phone and asked Siri how to reset the iPad when the screen is black and not showing the screen. Well, it came up with the words, how do I bring the black screen of death back did not tell me what to do the first time, I opened YouTube and asked how to reset iPad from a dark screen and my first video came up with the steps to reset the iPad. Simple, but did not realize I had done the steps already. I grabbed my iPad and opened it and the screen was showing me a picture of Millie. I had reset the iPad with the steps without realizing I did the steps already! Wow! My iPad reset! Wow!
I texted my stepfather Lon and told him what happened with my iPad and the information I found on resetting the tablet and told him that I did the steps before realizing it and it reset itself before I found the steps, and he texted back after 9 am telling me that he was glad it worked for me. I was glad it worked for me as well. I am curious as to why both my watch, last Friday, and this morning, and my iPad today, had a black screen and had to be reset. I am going to look into it.
