I have been home all day, eating breakfast shortly after Jackie got here. Deb and Jackie swapped work days this weekend. Jackie could not work yesterday, Deb’s day off was a workday for her and she got today off instead. Jackie brought me Croissant egg sandwich from Kwik Trip this morning and Deb will return to work tomorrow. I do have to admit that it was a very nice change, but when my schedule or day changes, I sometimes feel disconnected and discombobulated for a few hours because my day changed slightly, and it was my caregivers swapping days. I was super glad it has been Sunday ALL day and I didn’t have to go anywhere today! Yet, I did have a great day because my feeling of discombobulation was only a SHORT discomfort for the first time ever of feeling uncomfortable with my caregivers changing or swapping days to get what things needed to be done for both gals this weekend. With mom forgetting to call me last Sunday because she got involved with her projects and time escaped her without incident or thought to call me, and I did not notice UNTIL two days AFTER, Tuesday afternoon, that we have NOT talked on Sunday, the 4th of August. Oh well, texted her and she found the time to call me this afternoon after Ken and Tanya stopped by for their visit and time with me. Today was a great day all day despite the change in my day occurred today. I’m having my dialysis weekend now. I cannot stay up super late tonight because I have an tele-visit with my counselor Deb J at MercyHealth’s Mercy Options Behavioral Health Counseling Services and I haven’t seen her for at least 4 months now. Tomorrow will be the first time in a while now since my last session I accidentally missed because I overslept and time passed.

With my very good day, yeah, I laid on my bed all day watching Riverdale and while Ken and Tanya visited for an hour and a half, we watched Extreme Home Makeovers with Ty Pennington earlier in the afternoon, 1 o’clock, then I had the rest the day to myself and my fur babies Magic and Millie. It was a good day or a great day in my book. Anyway, this day was indeed a good day, and I will NOT argue about it today.
