I am feeling frustrated these days because I get calls everyday from numbers that come up as scam calls. The way my phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) is set up now (thanks to updating technology every month or less) I can press for voicemail. Most of the time the scam call hang up. So what I do now is hit voicemail, thrn block, thrn click on block and report spam since that is an option. It is very annoying, but what else can I do? Nothing!
Who’s Calling Me?
One of the scam calls is car insurance companies saying that my car insurance needs to be updated because it has lapsed. First of all, I do not have a car nor a driver’s license. I have a Wisconsin ID only. Such idiots!
I am always getting so-called calls from numbers with the same area code, but the last four numbers are slightly different. They are from the same area code and no matter how many calls I get from another part of Wisconsin, I block and report it. Sometimes I allow my caregiver Jackie to answer my phone whrn it rings to say something off the cuff to be funny but yet serious at the end as well as be a little rude. Yet, I still get calls. Geez!
No One Seems to want to Talk Anymore!
When it comes to cell phones, thanks to iPhones and android, and we can think Steve Jobs and Bill Gages for their ways of communicating with others, but it seems no one wants to talk anymore. People want to text and air their dirty laundry on social media sites. I am one person who would rather talk on the phone more than text, or see a person face to face. Please understand that I do have difficulty communicating verbally, but I do try. I communicate through texts with those who prefer texting, and I do have difficulty talking to some family members about anything serious.
Now
I have 21 minutes left to dialyze and will be leaving here by 2:30 pm today. I will write more in My Life in Words later and more this weekend here.
