Dialysis training for the home is slow, but I am getting through each day without any hiccups and hitches. I just wish both girls would be there with me and just Deb or just Jackie. The three of us should be there or this home dialysis training is not going to happen in my home or I will continue going to the clinic three times a week instead. I do have to admit that I do feel better doing 3 hours of dialysis M through F instead of three days a week, and having four days not dialyzing. I’ve noticed I feel so much better dialyzing 5x a week versus 3x a week. I am glad we have decided to do this. I feel more free now even though I will have 3 hours 5x a week instead of going to the Clinic 3x a week to be hooked up to a machine or what I say——-tethered to a machine, lol. Yet, I prefer hemodialysis over peritoneal dialysis now that I have done both in my lifetime.
