No need to go in for a session and dialysis treatment today because I was supposed to go to another scheduled appointment today, but it was cancelled due to the fact I have an insurance snafu happening right now. Apparently, the doctor and SSM Health is NOT in my Medicare network and yesterday, Jackie and I, spent over an hour on the phone talking to someone at the insurance company I had and with someone at SSM Health. Now we are waiting for any calls coming through tomorrow (Thursday). So, no treatment today, and I’m staying home to work on my journaling, snuggle up with my kitties, read, watch tv, and relax. I guess this is a free day and I am going to take advantage of it and be happy that I don’t need to be tethered to a machine for the first time this week during home dialysis training.
