My Dialysis Update Journal

When I was doing dialysis on M, W, and F makes it easier on me and my caregivers Jackie and Deb. I like it M, W, and F myself because I like my weekends. When I went on T, Th, and Sat, my weekend was Sun, and M, and I did not like it too much. The fact is, I even dislike the dialysis days during the holidays of Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day because the clinic is open on Sundays, and all the patients have to go to dialysis on different days. Yes, I hate it, but I go three times a week despite how I feel about it. I even get pissed off when patients just do not come in as scheduled. I understand that a patient is in the hospital or on vacation being treated there, but not they just do not show up because they do not want to. I will just go all the time. If I cannot make it, it is because a caregiver is running late due to severe weather conditions or they overslept. Oversleeping is rare with my workers, but when we have severe weather conditions, being late is okay. It just means missing a treatment, and I watch my liquids, sodium, and phosphorous levels carefully until my next treatment unless I can get in the next day. That is how it works for me. Anyway, for this Friday, my treatment was okay. I believe it could have been better.
