No visit from Dr. Anjum today. Dialysis went smoothly for the entire time, but in the start, we had an issue with the catheter needing to be flushed out with saline solution to get the lines to work properly. If that did not work, then I would have to sit it out while Cathflo is working on it for a half an hour—30 minutes. Cathflo was not necessary today. The second flush with saline solution worked just fine. I got done at 2:35 PM and downstairs by 2:48 PM.
As far as my weigh-in and weigh-out on the scale, I am doing fine there. Getting on the scale while going up the ramp on the side of the scale is working out wonderfully! Getting off the scale I walk backwards to sit in my power chair. It works for me.
As far as being at Mercy Health Dialysis Center, I still do not like going there anymore. They expect too much from me these days, and it is getting old. I have found the center to be my home away from home unhappy now. I still sit in pod #5 in chair #18, or I sit in chairs #19 or #20. If depends on my technician who is putting me on and taking me off each time. Technicians bounce from pod to pod. I do have my favorite technicians and nurses these days. I just do not like going there anymore is all. The staff expects a lot from me these days and what is happening in my life is none of their business unless I say something. They want the old Kristi back, but in a good way, the old Kristi is still around, my attitude about MercyHealth is not a good one right now. I feel that they have done some things that have made me feel comfortable with my medical care. Nope, I do not trust MercyHealth anymore.
