Dialysis Update III
Fri Apr 18 2025

Unfortunately, I did not get out of dialysis and downstairs until 2:58 pm today. Not too happy about it. I have been sick and tired of MercyHealth for the last couple of years because they are so money hungry more than they really care for their patients lately. My caregiver Jackie’s husband died of cancer two years ago because of their negligence in caring for him and the attitude of some of the doctors and nurses in his care. With Jackie being POA for her husband, the medical staff did not listen to her. Well, to be very honest with you, Jackie talks on her phone using the speaker phone most of the time and the other person on the other end of the phone always thinks she is yelling at them. That is her problem that I try to tell her to lower her vice or Change her tone of voice. She doesn’t listen. Oh, my goodness gracious woman! Also, stop using the speaker on your darn phone and talk less loudly, please?! Dang it, it does sound like you're YELLING at the person at the other end of the darn phone woman! Geez, lol.

Dialysis did go smoothly today and the machine did not have to be set to clean only today because the tech in my care today, Cherity, put on the medium BP cuff on my arm and my BP didn’t go under 100/50 at all today. Yay! The machine was able to pull 2200 kilograms of fluid and toxins in 2 hours and 45 minutes without having to lower my temp on the machine or stop the machine from pulling fluid from my blood. It was a great day for dialysis today. It was an ok sort of day for treatment for the last one of the week anyway. I will give my day that much of a good dialysis day. Now we need to talk about helping me get to my power chair without feeling I am feeling I am falling forward because my nurse Corina has a hold of my pants so tightly that I squealed and the techs and nurses heard me all the way from the front by the nurses’ desk. Oops! Sorry peopk.
