Treatment for the day went well today. My BP went below 100/50 a couple of times but because of the time being I had 19 to 20 minutes left to dialyze for the day, I did not take any medication to bring my BP up a bit, and rewrapped the BP cuff and retook my BP that went above 100/50 and kept the machine going on taking fluid and waste out. At yhec end of my treatment, the machine alerted the technician Becky letting her know that it was time to get me off the machine for the day. She took my BP one last time after returning my blood and unhooked my catheter from the machine lines and got me into my power chair to weigh out. I weighed out at 93.9 kilograms after the treatment. in other words I am 207 lbs. I still need to lose 30 pounds, but I am still waiting for insurance to approve the medication I need to take to help with losing weight. Jackie, my caregiver, has to call Froedert to find out about the delay because I will NOT go to my next appointment in December if I don’t get my medication just one month away from seeing the surgeon who wants me to be at 177 lbs. It will be a waste of my time and hours of being in Milwaukee for a couple of hours. Ugh!
